absolutely brilliant reading there Plum
Many thanks for doing this blog. It has been great to follow your travels while I freeze back here.
Great stuff. It's been informative and humourous thanks for sharing it.
A tour de force with your coup de main!
But what a read! Good stuff!
Still no piccies of the cute girls you keep mentioning! So no you didn't buy any merchandise from Sturgis?

This should read Post 20. Senior moment
lol, good fun. Looking forward to pictures of cool bikes.
No blog of yours is complete without the usual cock-ups associated with your presence, it is reassuring to know that you are over in the States, inflicting them with your unique brand of gremlin conditions!
Gee lekky problems and you? who'd thunk? I thought it was most humourous how you lost sleep due to the oil prank!
More exceedingly excellent exclamations of egress on your European extension!
Thems funny looking mufflers Andrew has on his ST.

Great read, I am definitely wanting to do a motorcycle tour such as yourself once i am finished with Uni and have saved up enough money.
Another good read
Dang, I thought something nefarious had befelled the Gremlinator! As usual, the local people have to put up with this moving black spot. Quite a few days missing, the usual sprinkling of Harley jokes, dirty bike, sleeping in ... I daresay that this is all par for the course! Now, when are you really going to write about the entertaining stuff?
Yes well i left Taupo early because of the weather forecasts leaving a beautiful sunny (but cool) morning and headed to the rain at Turangi which turned into a downpour at Waiouru where I stopped for breakfast. Leaving there at about 930am I rode through a steady snowstorm through to Taihape with the dashboard display flashing 1.5 degrees C and little ice crystals. Stayed pretty cool through to Bulls where I stopped for a pee and to make sure the wedding tackle was still attached and then on down to Welly in fine but cold weather. Arrived home at 1.30pm well before the snow began. Glad I left Taupo early in the morning cos the white stuff fair fell out of the sky in Karori. So - the SH2 Clayton's Ride can get put back on the calendar for another day?
