Is that 300km until your gauge reads empty or 300km until you actually splutter to a halt from lack of gas? My 2005 GT250 gets about 350km per tank. I usually fill it at the 325km mark and I've almost always got another 3L in the tank to go. The fuel gauges are an indicator but shouldn't be taken as the gospel. From what I understand the GT250R's have an electronic fuel gauge which may be more accurate to the analogue ones on our bikes.
Your family and yourself will be in our prayers...
Hey Creature, thinking of you and your family.............
...Hi Creature ...so sorry to hear about you & your family and the terrible ordeal you are all currently going through. ....just don't know what to say that covers the sadness and wish to support you and your family in some way (big or small), but please!... just ask if you require anything!.....We look after our fellow KB members around here creature
Sorry for your loss and sincerely hoping the little one pulls through. Condolences to you and yours. Michelle
excellent write up BuckBuck - it was a great course - cheers Aslan
So sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with them and i wish them a speedy recovery.
Can't imagine why it would valve bounce when cold at 6000 and then run normally when warm up to 10,000. How long does this cold running last, my GV250 runs a bit hesitant - particularly when i come out of corners at lower revs - when I take off first thing these winter mornings but that only lasts 500 metres or so. That is probably running lean as I don't use thre choke, therefore less fuel is vapourising so its running lean. Once it warms up, the appropriate amount of fuel evaporates and the engine runs OK.
Sorry to read your tragic news. Thoughts are with your family members - and with you in respect of your own health problem.
That is really sad, what an awful thing for your family to be going through.
Sounds over choked. Would also explain fuel consumption. Wouldnt valve bounce cold then be fine warm. Cant happen. Take it to somebody that knows what they are doing.
Take it to someone who knows what they're doing.
Guess anything is considered a blog these days... haha
Tried the 2CT and now use Power One's. Good tyre, good price. Wouldn't use the Power's as a wet road tyre, or as a commuter however. The 2CT's were great all round tyres.
Looks like a lot of fun!
the bikes also being rewired, i redone my wiring loom. the iridium plugs and leads.
Hi Dude, Thank you so much for these blogs, I don't know how you do it, I mean, have time to send these illuminating and humourous, renderings to us, good on you, and safe travels! Living vicariously is not quite the same, you are a bast#rd!!!!!! Kind Regards Al
CREATURE agrees, your brother is very wrong, if he wants to ride his bike he must follow restricted rules, if he wants to go out after 10pm he has to leave his wheels at home; no matter how painful that may be

Mrs Shrek is correct, your bro is very wrong. When riding a motorcycle, it is under the corresponding class, the same with a car and it's class, otherwise, why would you need all the different classes?
