No law against looking like a knob.
of course u can. flood ur bike with em just do the wiring urself have seperate switches and dont be stupid about them lol.
Do a search under the forums, there has been a few threads... I know, because I have replied to most. In short, comply with the VIRM (Vehicle Inspection Requirements Manual) which has all the clauses about lighting (blue lights falls under cosmetic lighting), and you'll be legal.
haha, better luck next time then I suppose
catalunya gp next weekend.
THis osunds super amazing, My husband and I are new to riing and heading over to Holland next year for the MOTOGP in Assen. We can't wait. Your living the dream and your blogs inspire me. Thank you. Ride safe
Proud of ya ... well done ..
It's hard to find the perfect woman but!
well done !
I was very helpful to the others in getting their two wheeled contraptions onto the crates. I'll have you know possession and non-possession are about level, thank you very much. Except now non-possession will increase by about 8 weeks, then I'll ride her for 6 weeks, then probably lose her again for up to 8 weeks. It's a vicious cycle
Once again, Gremlin is proving that with this new bike, he has ridden it less weeks than he has owned it now! Quite surprised something didn't happen when you were assisting ... since your track record on that isn't so good! (maybe because you didn't want to get even more off side with your herd mates in the weeks to come? ) Lets hope that your bike doesn't end up in Abu Dhabi or Timbuktu instead of where it's meant to go!
hello Koroj, i'd love to give it a try and i know there's a number of ppl here in auckland that would be keen as well. would you be kind to share some of your findings (ie. course setup/dimensions) so we could try and replicate it over here? cheers, Ricardo
Have seen the videos on Youtube and this is something I would really like to have a go at. So next time you are thinking of setting up another practice run, post it up, would love to come help set-up and have a have a go myself.
Interesting stuff and certainly worth doing... I would have a go if I was in Wellington. I can tell you that indeed, the BMW is well balanced, and also has an excellent turning circle, well, the GS at least does. Sportsbikes < Hornet 900 < KTM Supermoto < BMW R1200
Ballantrae Place car park could be a go on a weekend(-41.2777,174.773536),or even see if we could cone of a part of clifton terrace car park(-41.283751,174.773724).Andrew templeton (roadsafe) might know of some venues.I would be ken to have a go,help to run/set out

I can tell you there is a pile of paperwork, and you will probably have more, as you're actually importing. I'm just moving my own bike around. You'll have all the certification, headlight angles and other stuff you read on KB. Depending on what you're doing, I'd suggest buying and selling in each location. Hiring costs a fortune for long term stuff. 6 weeks in USA would cost around $7500 for hiring, shipping is costing around $3000. I'll find out the shipper for you on the weekend, as she gets crated on Saturday at 0930.
The scary thing about all this is that Gremlin is learning new skills ... which only invariably will lead to him bolloxing up even more things, which will need to be fixed. Until he finally finds the limit of what he can't fix anymore!

Fuse box near the headlight for stuff like GPS, Radar, CB Radio, to stop the huge number of cables running back to the centre of the bike (besides the baehr).
