Awesome, it sounds like I must ride with him. I have a GPS and I've ended up in MORE places I wouldn't have, than if I didn't. Gravel in the middle of the night, trying a "shortcut" etc. Well, good luck, and have an awesome time!
Me too, although when I bought this bike I also got a bunch of spares with it, including a complete set of throttle bodies
Must have been satisfying to work that out and fix it? Congrats. I thought it might have been worn slides or summit more expensive.
Bummer mate, hope ya find that issue and sort it nice and easy ! Bit of a scary moment !
awesome read Shane
LOL that sucked arse mate! What a pity! Guess thats what makes it fun good to see you in the pits and thanks for the help loading the bike!
Steve did hold his line. Being more used to lapping traffic these days, Steve went about 6 inches wider into the hairpin than his usual line anticipating easy pass up inside for following rider. Shit happens but "sorry bro" goes a long way after a racing incident and is considered sportsmanlike.
Great read there Shane. Very witty and a lot of drama for the weekend. Stevie should know to hold his line and let the guys coming through make their move. The guy might have thought Stevie was signalling that he was going left at the hairpin.
When you're used to doing 1000km rides in a day, its surprising indeed how quickly you can get out of fitness. Suddenly 600km can feel hard I think I need to get back into it too. Slackened off after a good Grand Challenge, then Christmas, then changing bike. Less than a month and a half until we have to head south
I remember when bucket racing was based on shitty old commuters with stock engine maybe hotted up and everything that wasn't essential removed and you could race competitively for a few hundred bucks. It's much faster and more competive, and people take bucket racing really seriously these days, but I kind of miss the idea of them being cheap and minimalistic and only built for a laugh.

I have the Metzler 880 WWW on my C50T and they are much better than the OEMs IMO. Haven't clocked up a lot of k's on them yet tho.

Thanks guys - really appreciated. I kinda discounted the TOR but now im growing to like the idea - appreciate the clean, factory lines and the modest (yet quietly aggressive) sound. Cheers.
Watch out for that PHatt Maxx character aye Anthony, he's another mad MAG-NZ'er and a P.O.M.M.E to boot. But he's ours and we love him to bits. Anthony, yes a ride for Aria and thank you in advance for the help you have offered. I'm going to be the fella doing this one so I'd like to get together soon and get it under way before we run out of good weather.
Neil Walker and i go way back he truely is a good man, He is as keen as, even though he has a hang of a way too travel too work. Appreciate your comment and look forward to doing another event with MAGNZ. Sweet as , spot ya at DPC Anthony
Hey, you don't know me, I was at the MAG launch - a good mate of ours has recently started working for you, his name in Neil no doubt my husband and I will be buying tyres off you in the near future.
Appreciate the Business, look forward to doing another event with MAGNZ, just yesterday i went onto our website www.theredeemed.org and went into 2010 past events and watched the video clips of MAGNZ launch at our tyre shop what a fantastic day. Can you please find out if you guys are still keen to do a charity ride for Aria Mcdonald if so let me know as i will help organise the run. Thanks Anthony
Ha ha, I knew you two would be all over this when I saw the subject! Especially you Cloggy!
I was riding along behind Cloggy just the other night thinking how great the triple sounded. Another plus for the TOR is that they've got a map specifically for it (which would go for the Arrows cans as well). On the downside there's no weight saving. Mate had a Two Brothers which was incredibly light but for me was obnoxiously loud. YMMV. The Jardine sounds good on the Youtube clip... but it also sounds LOUD. Looks... interesting
