In my opinion you can't go past the orginal Triumph TOR exhaust. Sounds great without being too loud. Supposedly has the same performance boost as an aftermarket can, and looks standard. Aftermarket cans all have this "tacked on" look, and some look right out of place.
Anthony Wright, how the hell are you mate.Nice to see you here in KB. I bought two tyres off Mike last month, oh and got the bike serviced, both bikes, both of the wifes bikes and yes you stickered em both.
THE Metzlers are excellent tyres for the heavy bikes, i am currently running them on my Harley Davidson Deuce, i find them very dependable in the wet. for the best prices and advise phone Mike at DPC ON 092947955, dUNLOP 409 ARE ALSO GOOD AND SOME WHAT CHEAPER
Very Good John. Yes I think you got most of those roads right. I have sent the link to some of our local crew. Do you have the orginal in word format? If you do could you send me a copy for our local Hamilton Newsletter. Cheers Jim
there is always a bitch pad on my bike with your name on it buddy, just in case

Yes, the 880's are good but I like Avon Cobras the best, I have had them on my M109 for 15k and still great, very sticky but predictable in the wet as well, I think I will get 20k if I keep riding like I do.
I've always used 4t gearbox oil in all my strokers (and there have been many) Also I dont use full synthetic in the gearbox .
Go to a motorbike shop and ask them for some 2 stroke gearbox oil. Use fully synthetic 2 stroke oil for the engine.
I got some Metzeler M5 tires for my CB400 and they were brilliant. After 100km they were very grippy. Most people I've spoken to about tire brands say Metzeler are awesome and, though this is my first set of new tires (other than when the bike was new) I can't fault them.
We gunna do the Southern Cross then are we? Put the U-Sillies AGM on hold and go AWOL for a week? kennif

Hmmm - totally agree same roads... different skill sets. If i ruled the world, peop.s would have to ride a bike for 2 years before they were permitted to even THINK of going for a car licence ... as i see it, this would serve three worthy purposes:- a) only the trainable would survive b) the survivors would be forever 'bike aware' and c) they'd understand the necessity of staying 'in the moment' and totally aware whilst on the roads
