Hi ducatijim, Im interested in getting a few more ponies out of my 09 KLX 250 and am looking at getting a Dynojet kit from the states and getting a header and muffler from cycleworks in Levin. What Mods have you done to yours and where did you source the parts? Also have you drilled out the crankcase breather? I have read a bit about it but not sure whether the gains are worth the potential risk if you end up upside down for a period of time. ...

This weeks ride was an overnighter to Raetihi. The main push for this destination came from the Dirt Trackers who wanted to sample the Whanganui River road, but of course a road option was also required, so that meant I had to come up with some circuitous route to get us there and with Raetihi not really being on the radar as far as destinations go, I felt we needed to get there via ‘The Road Less Travelled’. Well I did my full licence test back in Feb, first thing in the morning out at Westgate. It was a great sunny day, and the test went sweet. So after work on that day, my girls wanted a ride with me, so that worked out well.
