After getting the front tyre checked this week, it turned out that it was slightly damaged but as I don't have any marathon rides planned, we just fitted a tube and will contine to monitor it. We had the Ambulance Charity ride on ANZAC day this week. There was about 50 bikes turned up and we rode from Maidstone Park, over Haywards to Plimmerton, then down SH1 to Murphy Street and the Ambulance depot on the corner of Hobson St and Thorndon Quay. Gunna be looking around for a good 2up sports bike for me and the missus in the next 6months or so. Even though im on my learners will be looking for a good deal to maybe put in the shed for when the time comes. Im after a good 2up sports bike if theres one for me and the missus shes just under 6foot and im 6foot2 between us we add up to around 200kg big boned and all you know. Is there such a bike or will i have to bite the bullet and get a cruiser. Maybe a firestorm or a bandit maybe all ideas ...

my battery keeps crapping itself..like, it'll go great for a while, but it'll wear down and then die completely. i'm currently running my brother's chopper battery in it and he wants it back.. i've been told perhaps i'm running the wrong ampere/hour (old battery was 10amp/hr and current one is 7 amp/hr) but what i know about electronics is smaller than an ant shit.. anyone else experience this problem? i have spoken to a few that say it's just what TLs do..any ideas of how to remedy ...
