Well just picked up my scooter from a service. It was going to be just routine oil & air filter but of course ended up to be more.
A grand total of $930
The bike had done 12500 km and always been serviced . Had airfilter replaced 6k last time. But this time required the belt drive and variation rollers replaced plus plugs, oil and airfilter. Was this value for dollars for the bike, considering you can now buy a new one for $5990 the ORC.
No complaint against the scooter ...

was going away for a week on the scooter now I've gotta be back by Wednesday night. Never mind gotta be positive about it . as it all in a good cause mine.

Couple of week to go then I'm off for ride gotta take the chance while I can.
Thinking that I'll go down Gissy way then across to Napier then down to careton to see my brothers. Probally leave Monday and be back by Saturady as I have champion of champions to go to at Raglan.
But what to see and do on the way down?

Daughter crashed my little AZ50 the other day she was ok bar a broken collar bone.
The bike looked not bad and was able to ride it the bike shop to have a look see.
Wow front struts twisted and frame bent. The guy said a possible write off but its up to the insurance.
And it was only a small dent in the door of the other car, man it does not take much.

Will alo took my Voyager in for the first 3k service. Been only 2 months been to palmy and ...
