I've got some gaskets for my bike, I tried starting it over but it didn't sound like it was firing, I think that's the right term. Anyway do these spark plugs look dead? I do not know how to check for spark.
Yes...........
The world will look up and shout "Save Us!", and I'll whisper "no"
ok.. I may be really wrong, being a newbie to this and all but...
are they running a little rich? They look a little carbon fouled.
If the plug electrode is getting rounded rather than square you're definitally wearing them out... hard to see with the shadows
Good luck, and you're braver than I am atm
Yep. Not good. Either too hard a plug or running rich (or horribly retarded ignition maybe) . Or a blocked air filter, or some electronic thingy mumbo'ing, when it should be jumbo'ing.Originally Posted by thehollowmen
They should be a nice cafe a lait brown colour with no "gunge" on the electrodes (note the use of technical terms here, gotta get the jargon right )
