Ive seen some strange vehicles on the road.

But this seriously takes the cake.
Parked in the middle of lake road belmont at 6.20 tonight was a 6.0m cabin cruiser. No truck, trailer, tow car --Just a boat blocking the road.
I forgot the darn name but it meant summat like lost.
Hmm-talking to insurance company ---yes ya see I was riding down the road minding my own business and this boat leapt out and hit me.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

A boat chased me down Onewa Road once.

Going up the Highbury hill, behind a small truck (Austin A40 or something like that) with a small boat (the next size up from a dinghy, I'm not into boats so don't ask me what sort), just sitting on the flatbed of the truck.

Truck is motoring uphill as fast as such a vehicle can

Watching this boat very dubiously because the bow bit of the boat is significantly hanging over the back of the truck , ie the flatbed wasn't as long as the boat , when truck hits a bump (this was years ago, the road wasn't as good as it is now).

Sure enough the boat parts company with the truck (quite slowly, sort of slid off the back), and starts sliding dwn the hill toward me.

Not really hard to avoid, it slid slowly and predictably, and soon stopped.

But I also blinked at the thought of explaining it to the police .

(Truckie realised what had happened, stopped, doors opened, three big Maori blokes leaped out. "Sorry mate, you OK" . Between the four of us we shoved the boat back up onto the truck and off they went)

The adventures I used to have !

The bottom of the boat/cruiser will be kinda ripped up after it was plonked on the road...

I'm just picturing a 6 metre boat parked outside my house and the questions from the neighbours...

So how come the number plate is OR####??
Very nice job, I shudder to think how many hours went into it. If you built one for sale what would it cost?

    Morgan Replica query

The number plate is OR**** because its not classed as a car, but rather class LE2
This class is for tricycles with 2 front wheels, as opposed to LE1 which a motorcycle trike, with one front wheel ,so long as it weighs less than 1 tonne. Thus the ginormous V8 trikes you see would , in some cases , be over this limit & would then be treated as normal cars.
I am planning to build some more but we are talking $20g,s + if I decide to sell them. I hate to think what this one owes us!!! Thanx for your interest

I was parked up outside a movie theatre in londons west end once on the bike waiting for the controller to give me a job to E1 (morefields) when a pink caddy pulled up along side the bike with elmer fudd driving. While I was watching bugs bunny came out of the theatre got in the passenger seat and they both drove off.

Turned out that there was a promo on that night somewhere else and they'd killed time by going to the movies.

    Odd things sometimes happen
The contents of this post are my opinion and may not be subjected to any form of reality
It means I'm not an authority or a teacher, and may not have any experience so take things with a pinch of salt (a.k.a bullshit) rather than fact
