Nah, not you Frosty...

The air temperature here just now is minus 3.2C. The ground temperature is minus 5.0C.
I think even I will pass on the morning ride today...

Black Ice warnings for the BOP on National Radio (heavily iced the man said) and I hear the Rimutaka Hill Road is heavily iced as well - closed even?

Take care bikers. Black ice is a bastard to see but easy to find.

it's had snow on it for the last 3 days, at least the suns out today

Your right there Frosty, even in the avo in the colder places it is wise to watch and slow down on the shady bits.

Ah, what I wouldn't give for such a mild day. The air temperature here was -7.8C this morning, and its still -4.2 right now.

I might just go for a walk over our pond, haven't done that for a couple of years.

I live on the North Shore in Auckland. I had to park my bike outside last night (usually lives in my garage). When I rode my bike this morning the seat was covered in ice. I had to poor water over it.

Don't know what temperature it was, but must have been cold.

Whilst I have no pond to walk over, I did stand on the plastic tray of water that the cat drinks out of this morning without breaking the ice...now that's rare up here...
