    Angry Browns Bay riders beware!

Having coffee down at my local Starbucks.. park the bike up pretty close by, wander down to the beach avec la coffee. Strole back to the bike and find some little sh*t has tried to break the lock under my seat to steal the big fat nothing which was inside! They'd obviously had a little play around on the bike, as the back pegs were down....

So North Shore riders... BEWARE... these little sh*ts are around

Lil' Bastards...I see a lot of bored "gangsta" kids hanging around browns bay....
Sucks that you can't go for a little wander down to the beach without having to worry about your bike.

How the Bay has gone downhill.
A shame really. Quite a good place to grow up. You could leave anything unattended and it would still be there, safe and sound.

There's no best thing about Starbucks.

Unfortunate. I grew up in the bays (Mairangi) and i'll move back there as soon as I can afford it. Fortunately Mairangi is still too "old people-ish" for the hangers, apart from the beach I guess.

I can remember 'hanging' at browns bay on a sat morning when I was a kid. hah although I was brought up to not touch anything that wasn't mine! Little bastards.

Maybe having something hooked up that makes the metal parts of the bike electrified when it is parked up??? Turned off by an alarm type button on your keys!! Hmmm, I just had an idea for an invention!!

Haha... I'm always thinking about electrifying my cage and bike... or the spike that comes up thru the seat. But, I'm sure that the only person that would get damaged would be me if it malfunctioned... plus the cops say that "mantraps" are illegal

Bit hard on a bike, but my brother used to own one of those "around the world" LWB LandRovers. It had an electric fence type device that the occupant turned on when they went to bed or they left the vehicle unattended. Anyone else who touched the vehicle got a hefty wallop. Or a series of them if they were a bit slow on the uptake...

Of course these days they'd probably just stand back and empty their AK47 mag into the wagon.
