Smile How many bikes can you have in your shed?

Picked up 4 "projects" today. And unloaded them from the trailer and put them in the shed.

It's getting a little crowded in there now. And that is after I have sold 3 bikes this year. But I have added 6...

So had a quick count, and there is 20 bikes in there. Well OK, 3 are 50cc scooters that need a fix so I can flick them off. One day...

The ones running are the K100 (a work in progress), the SR 250 (really need to sell her), my 500 dirtbike (need a swing arm bush and front brake cable, but she is used on regular basis), my small ones 50cc KTM MotoX bike.

The "projects" are: my XV750 bobber, my Bonny custom, a PW50 in very small bits (one day...), NV 400 (my sons parts bike, but what is left of it can be put together and used for fun (one day...) 3 x Yamaha 100 2 stroke dirt bikes, 5 Suzuki 2 strokes from 100cc to 185 cc, a scooter I was planning to use for racing (one day...).

I love sitting in the backyard with a beer (or two) and tinker away on a project (or two). Sadly my work tends to get in the way...

PLEASE: Do NOT in this thread (or any other place on KB or any other site) provide information that can be used to find your bikes, your personal details, your security arrangements or anything whatsoever that can be used in a way, now or in the future, to steal your bikes!

Well shit. Why bother posting my number?
    3 'bikes'
Benelli Buzzer, I think it is. Don't have the money to bother getting basically new everything, but she kicks over fine.
Sikk bike. One of those sit-on scooter bike things with a piss-ass 20cc engine on the back. No spark, has no pull start.

    And Bobbie the Black Bandit.

Stop buying projects, you bike whore! *shakes fist angrily*

P.s., I learned to ride on a PW50 . Let you in on a hint... Gumboots do NOT stop your toe getting mashed between wood and the peg.

After getting rid of a couple of bikes, and some fish bins of parts last year - I am down to 8 bikes with wheels on.There are several frames, and engines, and forks, and wheels, and tanks,a wall of floor to ceiling shelves - I hope to make a couple of bikes out of that lot....but I need more parts.

I like to go out into my shed, sit down...and hold my head in my hands.....rock backwards and forwards....sob a few times.

    It's therapy of sorts.

But I'm not sure what is wrong with me.

What if you have soo many bikes that they are spread out over 1 garage and a shed and we still have to have 3 of them live outside.

Between myself and koba we have over 10 bikes. Of course with the majority of them being 2 smokers they dont all work at the same time...

If they are all broken and in need of repair - do they really count as bikes???? seems like a lot of engines, frames and tyres is you ask me - Must be depressing ..... each time you open the door, how do you decide which one needs attention.

I'd rather just have one bike (or two in my case) and know I can ride it any day of the week.

Have fun with your restoration projects

No they all work... May actually be less than 10 let me see...

    3x RG150's
    1x MB50
    1x KLR600/650 in an RS250 frame
1x BSA Cant remember what exactly off the top of my head
    1x FXR150
    1x VFR400
    1x street magic (on loan)

so OK 9. 7 of them race bikes, 1 of them commuter/racer and 1 commuter.

Oh yeah, then we have enough frames for another 3 bikes, a huuge assortment of tyres, engines, barrels, pistons, etc etc I think you get my drift...

As well as my Guzzi, I have my '91 DR250S with the engine in bits about to be reconditioned by me, my bucket racer (which is a never-ending project!!) and my '63 YG-1 that is complete and runs which I will restore (one day).
