    Ace Cafe London Pics

Friends just sent me this link to their website of photos after Easter ride to the Ace Cafe http://www.btinternet.com/~andrew.janet/aceagainp1.htm

Some interesting bikes in those photos.
    Cheers

Remember reading an article about that Ace Cafe. Seems to be an awesome bike culture in the UK.... well in the summer at least

It is a standard sportster with a bolt-on body kit - the kit was featured in Streetbike magazine waaaay back.

    Very nice bike.

It looks abit like the Norton Commando, which is one of my favourites. There is a company in the US that have bought the rights to build and use the Norton name. I want to buy one when they start building the new Norton Commandos.

An Umerkin Norton?!?!? Dear Gods, they'll all be over-weight and underpowered. And all look like Harley cruisers.

Thats prettu cool, I would like to go there
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    Not at all.
It's actually a fairly decent cafe racer, with a slight displacement increase, and reasonable reliability.
There was a thread about it on here at least once.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

My mate Chris and I stopped off at the Ace cafe when I was over in Sept. The food was fairley crap as most English food is. But it's a great place to hang out. Bought the badges and T Shirt.
Chris has bought a Buell 1000 city thing and occasionally visits. The bike got very grubby riding winter roads in London though
