Well, we(nz) are on the arse of the world..dont have that many trading options....and i have no idea why acc levies have to keep rising just because retards on scooters/bikes that are too powerful for them get owned by the traffic..it should at least be spread out more to the community..

If it does......lets hope the einsteins in charge of ACCs would realise that it costs almost double for rego on a bike than on a car...and that they would (hopefully, wishingly) start lowering it...

at least those guys make a attempt to keep acc levies down, and remember they would most likely be far worse off in dragons etc.

NO acc claims here (27yrs and over 300,000km's later)
    cheers DD

does that answer ya question... wages differ so much here that equating income percentage to rego cost is kinda eralavent.
    oh the pain!

my diesel SUV costs more to reg than a motorbike and i've never crashed it, it's a 2006 with ESP and common rail using less diesel than my wifes 1600cc toymotor........why??!!!

as for expensive reg for bikes: that's got a great deal to do with farmers and MXers crashing unregistered bikes and going to the doc saying "I crashed my bike"

we pay in our reg to subsidise their hobby and job

I do not mind the acc levy that much... its cheap insurance. I had full riding gear on and STILL required ACC treatment. I thank some scooter riders who pay for my repair who do not fall off!!

I do not think the argument is there :/, but yeah.. there is alot of plebs out their not taking precautions. Thats life

The only thing I do not think is fair is people coming off unregistered bikes and being covered by ACC..., I wonder what it would take to change the law on that ?

Mind you.. if they are not covered by ACC.. what happens ? ACC Still has to cover. Either way it is paid for out of the tax man, But it would be nice to humm scrape a little more out of jo blogs tax payer to pay for the non biker incidents and take the OTT'ness off the ACC Levy.
