this makes me giggle... you ever seen a person actually fucked up in a serious acco? get over it I have done worse at work.

ok good of you to say cos i think most here figgered it was a bike at the back of a pack.

Hence the actions of the group as one and not stopping is farking disgusting

I have read most of this thread

We have an eye witness and supposed video evidence of this incident, what is the purpose of this thread, why not just name the bike / registration # involved

But I am perplexed at the people being able to clearly read the number plate of the bike involved, assuming the bike was travelling in the opposite direction to the car most peoples attention would have been focused on the cheese cutter wire and the accident rather than looking behind them to read a number plate which would have been obsured by the other bikes in the pack

If the video was taken by a car following the bike involved then the bike was not in a group and riding by themselves

Something does not add up and I smell a rat

I am also perplexed that the eye witness has not given any description of the bike involved

Anyway, I was all but f'kin' ignored when I offered to help so after an uncomfortable pause said 'So, you don't need any help then?' Mr R1 peered up to say no so I fucked off and left them without getting so much as a 'Thanks for stopping'. Had I just ridden past I'm sure I'd have been condemned for that too. What is it with some ignorant f'kin' people?
Now that is fuckin' rude! Would it have cost them anything to say "We have it under control, but thanks for stopping" or something similar? Just a little politeness when someone does the decent thing and stops to see if they can help, would it be that much to ask?

Yeah mate, I've been on the side of the road with everything under control when someone rocks up to offer assistance. "Hey man, thanks for stopping, we're ok, but cheers anyway". How hard is it to be polite?

It wasn't so long ago I was riding past a couple of bikers, didn't notice what they were riding; I went 'thumbs up, thumbs down' with my left hand, got the thumbs 'up' so carried on.

    It's pretty fuckin' simple.

I'm just glad the outcome off accident wasn't worse.
it could have been avoided but wasn't= people need to learn from it. The car driver that rear ended the car slowing to avoid bike(s) was as much at fault as rider heading into oncoming traffic.

Says there is video of a group of tractors leaving the pub.

a group of tractors ran a guy off the road.

FKN farm equipment should not be on the road

YIKES! I got as far as page 8 shaking my head at some posts, agreeing with others, ingeneral having a sour taste in my mouth about the whole state of affairs...and then it is revealed that it wasn't a GROUP of bikes that forced the car off the road but only ONE fuckwit...

Hope the offender gets nailed...even if its only for failure to stop...and I don't give a fuck WHAT he or she was riding...
