Kind of pays to remember that your business is represented in each of your posts when engaging in a KB slagging match ..................

Possibly not the type of company image one is after?

    4c worth now.

I drive past that spot every day, I live 2 k's from there. I am saddened that the incident involved riders of any discription. There was a lot of bike traffic on that road over the weekend, I would put the numbers of bikes that past through the valley being in the hundreds. Its a poor advertisement for us all when this happens. I hope the persons involved have the fortitude to raise their hands and be responsibile for their actions, not be cowards trying to hide.

At the weekend I stopped (on my Harley) to help a broken down biker (on some old Honda). A bloke on, maybe, a new-looking GSXR / R1 ish bike had already stopped but you never know when you might be able to help (even if it was just to loan a mobile phone). Anyway, I was all but f'kin' ignored when I offered to help so after an uncomfortable pause said 'So, you don't need any help then?' Mr R1 peered up to say no so I fucked off and left them without getting so much as a 'Thanks for stopping'. Had I just ridden past I'm sure I'd have been condemned for that too. What is it with some ignorant f'kin' people?

As for the group of Harley riders that set off from Belfast, maybe it was a HOG ride out? Might be worth asking Rolling Thunder. My missus once dropped her Sportster at Hororata on some gravel. The local 'HOG boys' just watched and did fuck all to help her pick the bike up.

I was riding TEC in our group and the first lot of HD riders over took with care.
We gave them room and they filtered though with no problems.
But the mid to back group just pushed their way though.
All but the last guy who was riding his own ride and maybe was not with them.

Here is a pic so you can see where it happened.

Could drive a truck between two cars down that road why did the guy run into the wire ? Or did he panic ?
Thing that gets me is the footage the OP says is there of the group of riders and their number plates, where was that taken ? At the scene while they caused this horrible incident, or was it taken at the hotel where they allegidly came from ?
No prosecution will come from it !!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I did not see it happen and was waved on by the rest of the group as I was playing TEC at the time.
Must say when I came around the corner I thought the worst.
With bike's and car's every where.

Like I said the front group of HD riders were good, when they over took us.
One at a time with care.
The mid to back group over took as a group and took over most of the road.
And pushed their way though and around.

Now I did not see the crash so do not know how they were riding then.
And can only comment on how they over took us. (Like dickheads)

yep you are right the footage is not from the scene but lets face it, the feds know who they are and will take any oppertunity to nail their rides from now on. We had a good thing goin where the cops would let us be a little irresponcable and turn a blind eye but not any more. Now they are actively lookin for 2 wheel targets on this stretch of road.

    Never a truer word spoken.
I was getting blips on my radar on and off, most of the way home.
Could not see them, but they were there all right.

yes the cheese grater did a good job in wrecking the car but a crap job at keeping it in the safe zone.

The roads would be a damn sight safer if those dangerous contraptions were just banned outright.
