My old girl is only worth anything to me.
If I tried to sell it I would probably have to pay somebody to take it away.
If I was to have saved the money I have spent on her in the past three years alone, I could have put down the deposit on a Harley.
    But
I own my bike, have done for 7 years and will do for a long time to come.
If there are snobby bastards who want to laugh at her,
then they can go fuck themselves,
their bikes are probably owned by a fince company
have been paid for from a bank loan
even worst bought for them by a bitch.
Many of us on here worked hard to get our rides,
Saved our dollars and paid cash for something we wanted.
I see a heap of wanna be bikers on flash new bikes, but thats all they are wanna be's.
I dont doubt that there are many here also with the good fortune of having a good income and can buy a new bike each year, or when ever.
A shit bike in whos eyes should be the question,
To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.

Seems like there a bit of paranoia induced reverse snobbery starting to creep in to this thread in the form of attacking imaginery perceived snobs....

I cannot think of anyone who wou ...okay, maybe a couple to again prove the rule....who would look down their noses at anything less than a Desmodeci or some such. The fact that we ride should be enough to unite, irrespective of what the ride is...

And yes I have been riding at both ends of the spectrum and no I am not a born again rider and no I do not have worn knee sliders....or any knee sliders for that matter....

    Not a bad fishing expedition.
4 reds including 2 from some self confessed Rossi wannabe on a bandit who wasn't getting wound up.

Loser your preconcieved ideas of your stellar riding ability are more far fetched than the original premise of those that made you have a paddy and throw your toys in the first place.
