I love to blast around the neighborbood whith no gear and no helmet. I do it to get a feeling of freedom from ATGATT nazism and to dry my bike after I washed it. I love the looks I get from some folks...

BUT you should have had your gear on. Average cost of a minor accident - $61,000. We want to keep ACC as low as we can.[/QUOTE]

I didn't have an accident today, where do I collect my $61,000

The safety Nazis would shit their pants if they came to the med, Thousands of people commuting on Scooters and Sportsbikes in shorts T shirts and whatever else they feel like wearing. But then a lot of the ATGATT crowd probably don΄t use their bikes as daily transport and get dolled up for their Sunday rides.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

I went on an hour long ride just the other day in my T-Shirt and runners, and I almost crashed into an ambulance.

It made me laugh at the time.

I did actually once have a spectacular crash 3 feet from a Fire Engine. Sadly I had the full kit on.

You can collect slowly over the coming years through reduced increases to your ACC premiums.

I don't think not wearing full gear is worth a yelling at, everyone knows what you SHOULD do (just like wearing ur seat belt) but ultimatly it's your own choice if u follow that or not. I definatly support ATGATT, but i wouldn't exactly work my self into a lather over somebody wearing sneakers and jeans either.

Most fatal accidents(of any kind involving motor vehicles) occur with a 3 kilometer radius of the deceaseds home.
So you got yelled at by another biker for not having your gear on, big deal for you, till you do crash and we've all got to pay even higher premiums for our(bike) insurance and once again the Gvt puts up the registration of bikes, way to go.You just do your own thing and don't worry bout the rest of us jack.

I agree. The most I'm likely to do is shake my head and think "hope they don't come off". Hardly worth actually yelling at someone over.

Personally I think it was very rude of whoever it was, and they probably have just as many vices or bad habits that someone else could yell at them for.

Ignore it, but remember if you do come off without gear, don't moan if the end result is not a nice one.

I ride with jeans and workboots and have had my share of AGATT nazis, heres my solution. You see I have this thing that rises in which I am powerless to stop in the heat of rage, people dont take it to well but they get the point when you aim it at them. It gives me pleasure to ride away with a smirk on my face and my thing up.
