    Tick tock, tick tock...
Wondered what happened, if he cornered like a real pro then maybe it won't end in a crash (although speeding in a built up area it isn't likely).

Yeah he was going hard, only the bike looked like it had been modified, maybe for racing, and the rider looked like not.
jeans, light red nylon jacket, no gloves, 6'2", bout 110kilos, not typical race build.
    Maybe stolen bike?

Underground carpark. Or forest trail , depending on bike. Maybe ditch the bike and walk out all innocent like .

Sadly you are grossly over-estimating the ability of the NZ Police to use firearms. Most of them wouldn't hit the car...

    Casino?

Didn't some guy get away from the cops a few years ago by riding in the Auckland Casino carpark then losing them?

My mate got passed by him on the motorway, like he was standing still! Think it was a triumph.....???

Only on one of Johns movies!
A certain person, not unknown to me, did that on a certain Bandit also known to me. Chopper, 5 or 6 cars and he got away.
He did a runner, but chose a time and place where every Police car in the area had been called to another incident and stood down, free to chase him.

Tunnels work well, 'specialy if you have a mate waiting there for ya. Just ditch the bike then hop in the mates car. If the bike is stolen then you lose nothin if not, well ya shouldn't have run in the first place.

Its going to be on the news, they even had a shot of him in the shorts. Most Choppers wont do much more than 100mph, could be a fun race...chopper limited to 100mph straight line and bike limited to well over 150mph with corners. Sounds like a mission. Why do cops even bother chasing bikes there is no way that a car can catch a modern/mid size Jappa. What loosers....

I believe the police chopper may be able to fly in the region of 120 knots.
    approx 130 mph

HA!! It was stolen, note the comment "closely followed," and drug charges? For what?

I recognise the dude who owns the fireblade that got stolen from the tokaanu rally last year. Is he a kiwibiker?
