Was a nice day for a ride...

Took the Guzzi up the 'Takas early this morning. Blue sky, crisp clear morning, not much traffic and a thundering Italian V-twin blasting between the corners in it's true environment.
Life doesn't get much better !!

Happy Fathers Day, Dad where ever you are above me.

    Good stuff, Mr Nudie!
Lovely weather yesterday in D'Auckland too. I spent the day doing chores.
So - it was Father's Day? Not according to my Troglodyte Mutant Spawn. All they gave me was grief, which I don't recall being on my list of "Things I really would like".
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Would have been a great day for a ride if I hadn't of watched the new owner ride my bike off into the sunset

Twas a nice day to climb the mountain, Paritutu rock & hang at the beach with some lovely backpackers though
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

    Ditto.
Was my first open road experience. Absolutely loved it.

Amazing how many other bikers there were out on the roads. Mostly heading towards the capital.

but mine's just a greenie. Common as muck.

Rego's on hold and I want to do a full service / replace fuel lines before putting it back on the road. It'll be the first job in the new garage.
