Was a good watch. Shows that you don't need big bikes, heaps of cash, support vehicles, or jedi skills to do a big trip. That was some pretty tough going on 250s though.

Yup. Very Kiwi I thought. A real number 8 fencing wire type adventure. That welded up front fork on the bike that got run over by the truck looked a bit dodgy.

I was thinking the same as I watched "Long Way Down" this afternoon, Ewan and Charlie came across as pretty soft

I wouldn't take anything away from the rich boys attempt, they still made an epic journey that can't of been easy in the least... the kiwi boys just made all the effort the rich boys put into it seem a little redundant

Yeah, it's got to be a little easier if you've got the cash to pay for support crews etc for sure, but still bloody hard work.

I've always fancied trying my hand at a big trip one day, Deadhorse (top of Alaska) to Ushuaia (bottom of South America), with the exception of the Deadhorse to Fairbanks leg it's be pretty cruisy through North America on good roads.

But once you jump the gap into South America (interesting fact, there's no road access North to South, boat or plane only) things would get pretty tough in places I think.

Now where'd I put that round tuit...

It's an entertaining film alright. I saw it at the Paramount here in Welli and got to hear some of the lads speak.
