    Norwegian motorcyclist safety commercial

It's quite dark, and different. Hopefully it's effective in getting the message out.

No drives at more than 50km/hr in Norway and they all stare at you like you're some kind of death wish owning feak if you speed up to the open road speed limit of 80km/hr.

Not to put too finer a point on it, they don't have a road safety issue in Norway. They'd do better to target their mid-winter suicide rate.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

anyone know who in the Auckland police to flick the link to, message being:

80% of the car drivers don't see the bike they hit

    vs

70% of collisions are the biker's fault

    ???

The pillock missed the most important splatterings of blood in his line of sight.

Quite bad taste - me thinks.

The two statements need not be incompatible (even allowing for the fact that 1 is Norwegian and the other is NZ)

If car v bike make up 30% of bike accidents and rider error make up 70% (let's say) then the statement is perfectly valid. 80% of car drivers involved in collisions with bikes may not have seen that bike. Thats still only 80% of 30% ... or 24% of all bike accidents.

    see?
