The pie warmer was there all year round, not just summer.

I hadn't noticed the toilets missing yesterday when I went.

If the toilets were missing ... where did you go ...

If you don't stop at the top ... does that mean you are over the hill ????

Fair point, but 3 months is longer than even an Indian Dairy owner would feel happy with.

It does worry me a little when there are some who just park there all day

Time for a rant,I am still pissed off at the deletion of two passing lanes & fucking double yellow lines nearly all the way over the hill!!!!

The bureaucrats have ruined another National Icon

Hell Barry , it was only 17 years lol.
I enjoyed the ride and as i dont get to the bike shops much its like looking into a window of one. Did you know they have a whole bunch of new bikes on the road now ??? i saw a GSXR 1000 , wow !!!
    I also saw a CB900FB with 750 sidecovers lol.
I wonder why the fence is the place to sit as well though , why have we as m/b riders not asked for a bench seat so we can sit on it and immitate the ride up .? The B/S and friendlyness of the riders that gather there is just like stepping back in time and thats got to show we move with the times

PS; i couldnt get over how many guys were from Upper Hutt

    Paul.

The top of the takas is an excellent place to watch and listen as the invading hordes of wellypeople descend into the depths of the Rapa, and wonder if there are any tables left at the 'fish' in Martinborough by the time I get there.
