Yeah, what they said.
Here's some general guidelines:
- Don't include footage that's crap (like the out-of-focus bit) and hope it'll be OK. Be ruthless and ditch it.
- For the speaking bits, do several takes. If they're all crap, you could at least splice the footage or out-takes together in an amusing way.
- Avoid repetition: you've lots of similar shots, where the camera angles are similar, the bike's doing the same things (going around a coupe of curves), and it's kinda same-same.
- The same thing applies with "the camera lovingly caressing the bike" : it's the same panning-down-the-right-side-of-the-bike thing. Show us more of the bike (like the left side!) Emphasize the details/features you liked or didn't.
But overall, it was good. Ish. Keep at it, guys!
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
So how many times did you go over the same bit of road? I'm thinking it probably got as boring to ride as it did to watch.
Good editing and camera work just a bit drawn-out for my short attention span.
Top effort on getting a new bike to test.
