The bike is really really nice to ride. The engine is light years ahead of the dakar donk. I can now do 60km in 1st gear.

its one thing getting rid of the Dakar, but to slate it too, it just to much for me

There there.. The Dakar engine is still very good... for a one lunger. But now I've got a twin there's simply no going back.

My last bike was a wee strom
they go well for 650... did find the front end a clunky in the rough stuff.
think you are onto it putting those valve things in the front

Depends on how good/pricey they are.. besides which, the hooligan in me is already eyeing up the 1000cc version vstrom.. I hear they have better fron suspension
