No. It is going to used against you. I didn't say point it out, I said be aware of it.

It does cost ACC money because they'll give $6k toward the funeral, which is $13k less than the average rehab figure for a motorcycle accident victim. But that's not the pint. Start dredging up facts like that on banners on that sort of ride and facts like the one one I quoted will be used against us. If you;re aware of the negative press it isn't such a shock.

It's the local (Wellington) protest organised by Ulysses - is that what you mean?

When I was out riding on labour day I stopped in to the Caltex at the bottom of the Rimutakas to fill up and I overheard a pump boy talking to a member of the hogs club trying to sell the no one should register their bikes and clog up the court system thingy.

So I set the sod straight that we don’t have anything thing against the police wasting their time and that some insurance companies wont cover motorbikes if they are not registered. The hog guy agreed and the pump boy shut up.

What was interesting the hog guy told me something I didn’t know is that you can register your bike for 30 months. So if all this does fail we have a year and a half at the old rate.

Also asked him if he was coming to the ride and he said he would be there.

Yes it would mean paying nearly the same for 1 yrs with the increase or 3 yrs without ( effectively acc would miss out on 2yrs increase or $1400 I like those numbers. )

15 is still a few extra months before having to face the increase. anything to keep the bike on the road legally a bit longer has gotta be good.

15 it is. You can't do it online, you have to complete a special form at an LTSA agent.
