    Both Runs Depart
10am from Fatboyz Carpark, Behind Cobb & Co SH1 LEVIN

Palmerston North Riders meet an hour earlier at the Square Carpark for the BIKEOI

Remember - these are likely to be quite big groups, and a safe trip is essential to our goals.

Is it able to be maybe done here, similar to other regions whereby we have a couple of bikes of different styles,i.e tourer, sports scotter etc.Have a heap of flyers to hand out,and posters on bikes showing accident stats relevant to the cause.Ideal place is square and maybe by info centre, say from 11.00-2.00pm.Bikes obviously need to be rego and wof, maybe also get a farm bike from bike shop as well,to show that road ridden bikes are regoed, while farm bikes are not, thereby not paying acc levy, but still are included in bike accidents statistics.

I am keen to do this.

im debatting whther to attach one of those flagpole things (on kids bikes, and mobility scooters) to my pillion pegs... Chuck a flag, and some laminated flyers on there as well could get some good passive publicity.

LEVIN arranged what about PALMERSTON NORTH ?

FAT BOYZ BAR behind the Cobb and Co on SH1 has agreed to be the LEVIN kick off point.

Nathan will be open so ya can get a coffee, get out of the cold if its chilly or stand around telling lies about bikes. Its intended Levin Bikers will depart around 10 ish so we can ride slowly and safely without any bins, or dodgy riding.

We need to decide if Palmerston North Riders are going to assemble in Palmy, or Hook up with riders from SH1 at Sanson or even at Fat Boyz LEVIN.

I still need someone to poster up Palmy Bike shops, cafes gas stations and pubs - any volunteers ?

I think a palmy assembly point would be quite good, should be quite a turnout from here, think a few of the woodville riders plan to join as well.

If its 10am in levin, 9am meet in palmy would give us plenty of time. Once the time/place/date part is finalised I'll add it to the flyer and plaster them round massey/bike shops (unless someone else is doing bike shops?) and whereever else I can find.

    Hi Bogan

just talked to Dave .. it will be leaving Levin at 10am .. so may pay to be a 9am leave time fr palmy ..

Dave will confirm details re 31st oct, so info will be same for both dates and plastering info everywhere will be great .. do not forget Dairies, petrol stations etc
