If you have a BIKOI Action Pack (distributed at the BRONZ meeting) please bring it. If not please bring $10 to get yourself one.

The action pack includes things like noise-makers for making a big racket, fluoro vests you can write a protest message on, markers for making signs, and other surprise goodies.

They are being sold as a fund-raiser for the protest rides, to (partially) reimburse people who are incurring expenses on behalf of all of us.

Disclaimer: The BIKOI Action Pack is not endorsed by Ulysses or BRONZ. It is a klingon and Hanne co-production.

Each of these gatherings is an opportunity to make a racket and be seen in public. It's part of the "buzz".

People will be asking each other, "Who are all those bikers over there and why are they making such a noise?"

At first nobody will be able to answer the question. In a few weeks people will know. "I saw them on TV... My friend saw them riding down the road... I asked them when I saw some at the park last weekend..."

Word filters back to the Powers That Be. "There are LOTS of them and they are REALLY ANNOYED with us!"

Just a suggestion - how about we try to not have any burnouts or displays of idiotic riding?

It is important to keep the public on our side and to show them we deserve to be taken seriously.

The meeting point has changed!!!! Due to expected numbers and other events @ the showgrounds, the meeting point is now the Telstraclear events centre in Manukau.

Fuck me (but, gently , please, and only if you have nice tits), that's quite a change. I'm glad I heard that I'd have been much pissed otherwise.

    Crikey.

I suspect there might be another (much smaller) rally at Cornwall park, involving streams of bikes riding around looking lost.

I will try to get the word out there.
