unfortunately even that i don't think will change your outlook, you will just hate the coppers for doing their job.
I will laugh like crazy when you get busted for speeding on your own road.

Excellent. Please ask them to ensure that they put all their officers onto patrolling Peak Rd. Must catch those speeders, and the only way to do it is blanket patrolling.

Could you let use know once that's arranged.

Bummer you have to make up a false 'friend' and make a faux pas of yourself.

What a shame valuable resources will be used up patrolling Peak Rd.
Going down "the hill" you could break the NZ land speed record and not be a bother to anyone (excellent straight road with clear visibility). What is the point in giving out tickets here? Quota or revenue collection? There are other more important black spots that need patrolling but are not...why is that?
    I follow the 50/50/90 rule.
Anytime I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right there is a 90% probability I will get it wrong

Part of the reason Hazzard county is stung so viciously by highway patrol is the staffing level held in and around Orewa. Police staff levels are arguably to high and general crime unquestionably low........The coppers struggle to justify their own existence [and transference to south orckland!], area commander/s must certainly come under pressure to justify numbers!

Motorcyclists DO need to think about what they are doing. Not you and not special jimmy telling them what to do. That is not thinking, that is someone thinking for them and from the looks of this thread you and jimmy the rat thinking for them is down right dangerous.

Again, spot on. You can't impart common sense into someone, and we can all be very thankful of that one because I sure as fuck don't want what you and jimmy the rat think passes for common sense.
If you don't use it you lose it, people should exercise common sense and thus develop it. This is not achieved by some sanctimonious cock telling them what to do.
look you stupid fuckwit, i will make this real easy for you to understand. slow the fuck down, keep to the speed limit, so you don't kill anyone.

    got it?

how can you say that i don't have any common sense when i am the one trying to get people to ride safe?

Now now jimmy the rat, take your meds and calm down.
I will make this real easy for you to understand. Deaths occur at and below the speed limit.

    Got it?

NO! You're just advocating abandoning common sense for the false sense of security of the speed limit. Jeez the govt did a number on you didn't it, completely fucken brainwashed by the speed kills shit - to the point you have abandoned any capacity to think for yourself.

NO! incorrect. i am not advising that people slow down and switch off their brains!
your a fool if you think that you can react to situations as well at 180km as you can at 80km.

(I will make this real easy for you to understand. Deaths occur at and below the speed limit.) no shit! so why would you want to exceed them?

    ah, yes. over the years i have owned ;

    Matchless 500
    1976 norton commando
a bunch of old mx bikes,

    had a couple years off.

then got a kx125 to get back into offroad, then a kx250, rmz250,

then wanted a road bike so got a drz400sm, borrowed a zxr636 for 6mths when a friend went overseas.

    does that count?

are you wondering why i don't share the attitude of complete recklessness when i put my helmet on? you can ride and enjoy the ride without endangering those around you or adding any additional risk to yourself.
