    Mufti Pommy police bikes

Check this out. Unmarked police bike chasing down a speeding rider. Personally I'd say the cop is just as out of line as the rider is. Esp as they didn't prosecute till later.

Shit imagine the lefty Luddites here if the police behave like that.

I was in Scotland 4 years ago & they had marked R1's, lights, the lot, patrolling the motorway.

When I was in Scotland earlier this year they had big roadsigns that said something along the lines of "Warning - Unmarked Police Motorcycles in Operation"
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

Bwhahaha. I just laugh when the Kiwi boys go on about outrunning the police. Try outrunning a moustached R1 riding Freemason in the pissing rain up the A9 before he calls his buddies in a Volvo turbo or Helicopter.

Reminds me of superbad lol. the cops turn on their lights so they can go through a red light. they shoot cans on the road with their service pistols and give the guys they arrested a go with the gun. some cops are above the law, until they get caught
    Thats whats up.

Was he commenting the offences of the rider or himself?

That cop was close enough on numerous occasions to get the licence number, and had plenty of video evidence - IMHO he should have stopped the chase well earlier, especially as it appeared he wasn't using his blue flashing lights or siren.
The guy he was chasing was an idiot for sure and deserved to get busted but I really think the cop was aggravating the situation and creating as much if not more danger as the guy being chased.

Dunno why you'd bother doing a runner when the cop was that close to you anyway, hardly worth it if he's got your rego...though maybe he didn't realise it was a cop?

According to the video, his speedo reads fast too....

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

There's one part where the cops right behind a car and flashes his lights.

Probably would have been over in a fraction of the time if he had some red & blues flashing.

Yeah, but that was just his headlight yeah? Least that's what it looked like to me.
No red lights in the UK, but those bikes are fitted with blue flashing lights and sirens.

Bikers should have dug their heels in and denied everything. Car's offences were on police video - bikers' offences were merely hearsay.

Only the offence with evidence would have stuck.

Here's a pic of the sort of setup they use, this one of course is a marked bike - but you can see the blue police lights mounted on the mirror stems. Small but very bright, you can't miss them.
