Too repetitive. Too much hyperbole. Not enough real fact.
    But it is something...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

It is a Labour party site, did you expect something different?

At least he is trying to focus Labour, Bikers, Rape Victims, Old people etc, all the targets.

We should try and consolidate with the other groups as well, turn the 17th into a mass community protest, rather than just bikers.

    IMHO

Strategically, I am going to start trying to push that line more. less exclusive bikers (I thinbk most people are over the line on that now) and more "not just motorcyclists - everyone is in ACCs sights - YOU may be next"

Speaking of Labour, MP Chris Hipkins is meeting me and any other Welly bikers who wish to squeeze his wee hand tomorrow at 11am at Rimutex

I have borrowed a spare kit (ATGATT all the way) from Hawleye (thanks HE) to take him on a wee ride.....

Those with Bike Cams who live in Welly, front up

Will be super sane speed limit crawl to top of 'His' hill

Sorry for the Hijack, just Labour related thread, seemed a good spot to dribble

    Just ride.

As I, and all of us. But the "fundamentals off ACC' don't ring Joe Q Public's bell. that just makes that deep and incisive thinker's eyes glaze over.

Those of the audience smart enough to undertand are already over the line. It is the Enids and Berts we need to collect now, whose thoughts will be "Well, I don't see why they shouldn't pay more, since they are so dangerous. At any rate it doesn't affect me or anyone I know. "

Ok my thoughts yep thats a Labour site with Labour Speil, Nothing new.
What about we try to organise a date for the New Year, with other groups, that have been affected by this, ie The Transport Industry, both freight and Passenger, Victims Support, Motorcyclists, Grey Power, etc.
Most of these groups are minorities, but together make up a Major percentage of the New Zealand Citizenship, that cuts accross all political and social groups, and with a combined voice would be to great for any political faction to ignore.

I'll try to be there and show him and over 601cc bike (KLR) with less power than your average weedeater. (pointing out that engine size has nothing to do with power which has nothing to do with crashing)
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

I was thinking maybe the Opening date of Parliment, in the New Year, this would give other groups time to organise them selves, and be a good reminder to all politicians we aint going to go away, and forget.

When did you change your tune? Last I heard you had swallowed the National hype and decided to attack other sections of New Zealands public the way they intended you to.

I get your point, but aint it too late?

We need to hit them when they vote, and all the way between now and then.

I agree that Phil's site is lots of Labour blahhhh ... but I also believe that there is quite a bit of power hidden in those pages. That elusive Joe Q Public person who has no time for greasy bikers - also doesn't really give a stuff that the greasy bikers think they can add better than the gumint

There's still a reasonable proportion of the country that does "trust" labour (more than trusts us lot anyway!) - so such a public statement from the leader of the opposition, that incorporates all the other target minorities is golden.

You know - I don't really like politicians much and I think his speech did turn into a party political broadcast some - but having Phil speak out at the ulysees protest was pretty impressive actually (from someone who's never voted for the NZ labour party)

I'm guessing phil will be too busy "inside" on the 17th to come an rally the troops? would give us another angle with the public to have an influential political figure speak out in from of a crown that's not JUST bikers like us...

We need all the allies we can get.... and fast...
