The last line is a bit rich...'to counter misinformation being spread by biker groups'.
I wonder where we learned it from?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Whaaaa!!! Misinformation from those big smelly bikers.
    Not fair.

I'm telling my mummy on you.

Les, can you get "ACC Spokesman" to have a one-on-one media interview?? To counter the misinformation.....

I suppose, a complaint is a complaint that needs looking at after all.

oooohhhh fabricated journalism! Makes ya wonder. Agree it's OKish but should you really let something like that slide when you didn't even talk to them? Granted they obviously taken some of your quotes from other stories but it's not in relation to the topic at hand therefore irrelevant.

How many other stories are like this? And they wonder why I don't do newspapers or news on TV. I'm better at making it up myself.

This is exactly what we are up against with journalists. Unless we pay for an ad, we are at the editor's mercy.

No, I did talk to her. Just didn't say that.

Well done fella's, it's one thing to bitch and moan behind the scenes but it's sumthin' else to man up with a journalist in your face. It's a lot easier said than done.

Oh ok, wouldn't it be a mis-quote then? I thought if they direct quote they have to publish what you actually say. I could just be naive though.

It was Keith McLea (ACC spokeperson) who made the quote about bikers and misinformation.
