    Talking Noob with boobs

Alas! Another chick biker joins the forum.
I've been riding the pillion seat a few times lately, enough to get me addicted and keen to ride myself. So I'm looking at getting my learners and purchasing my first bike in time for summer. I live in central/east Auckland, so once I've got some experience I'm keen to join a few group rides.
I'm thinking of getting a Suzuki fxr. If you know of anyone selling, or have other suggestions, please let me know. My budget is around 2-3k.

WOOOT! GO BOOBS ON BIKES!! welcome to the forum chickie.

I would suggest going with a 250cc rather than a 150cc, kuz 1 year down the track and i'm already growing out of my 250. But i do know 2 girls happy with their 150's so it comes down to how u feel test riding the 2 different cc's and how comfy u feel doing ur BHS
Good luck with that and welcome to the jungle!

Welcome Haymaker. Keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times and please don't feed the KBers, they'll learn to expect it. My 2 cents is when it comes to buying a bike start on whatever you like the look of and go from there. 250's tend to hold their value well if your worried about that but FXR's are awesome fun.

Your about to embark an a wonderful journey so enjoy it.

PS You bewt biker chickies are freakin awesome and we love boobs especially wrapped in leather.

Hey nice to catch ya on sunday at uni + pink ribbon (I think). The fxr is a mint little bike , and remember you're not stuck with one bike until you get your full either, if you learn on a 150 then wanna step up a level it ain't hard to sell it and grab a 250!

Welcome to KB Haymaker, it's great that more " chicks" are getting into biking.
The weather is improving and there are plenty of great roads out East so get that learners and bike sorted out and enjoy.

Welcome Haymaker! Have fun selecting your first bike.

I would reinforce what others have said re the cc situation - unless you specifically are after an fxr (which is what I did my BHS on) what others have said is very plausible. You will most likely outgrow it very quickly. I was advised to go straight for a 250 for my first purchase. Although it sounded 'big and scary' to me at the time I'm so glad I did; within a month I knew I'd have been itching to "upgrade" and I didn't have the money to make lots of steps up the cc ranking.

Have heaps of fun tempered with sensibility especially in that Learner period. (Yeah, someone has to be the boring mum around here....sorry!)
