We must save ACC from National

Most peoples original reaction to the proposed levy increase was "fuck you ACC!", most of us have since realized that the levies are politically motivated and are now directing our rage towards national, I propose we go one step further.

We should spearhead a campaign to restore ACC to its original operating principals, we have been targeted by national to be the first step in their efforts to dismantle ACC. The ACC system has been reviewed as world leading etc (theres a 470pg report on it somewhere I think), Obama is looking into using it apparently.

An excellent interview in this thread explains the situation very well.

An approach of this type would also have the added benefit of motivating the non-bikers of New Zealand to get behind our cause, what do ya reckon?

I reckon Nzers are too thick to understand that right wing, capitalist, monetarist parties like National, Labour, Act et al. will never represent their interests. New Zealand has become a third world nation in less than one generation.

indeed, 'we're not just fixing ACC for ourselves, but for all New Zealanders' would be a better message than 'just wait there, us bikers are trying to make a point', but imagine how much greater effect it would be if instead of just bikes gridlocking towns, but cars, pushbikes, tractors, trucks .....

When my family migrated here in 1964, NZ was number 2 in the world economy after Sweden, whose socialist policies our politicians copied, visiting Scandanavia regularly to emulate. Also the kiwi dollar was worth 2 US dollars!!!!!

Now, we give John Key an airfare to an important world meeting in Copenhagen on climate change, and hes not going.

I bet he wears stars and stripes undies. He went to Harvard University and is the same age as Obama, who is a Harvard man too.

    Burn them!
