To damage other peoples property when they offered it up for a good cause. The Organisers here in Wellington (me included) went to a huge effort to make it a great day for us ALL. I wonder if you would like it if someone coined a small scratch in your tank? No I didn't think so.
One clown, yes just one, could have haved changed the perception of us ALL by damaging property. Wheather that was a small oil drip or ripping the protective coating on a surface. I was walking back with two Police Officers who throughout the day were nothing but impressed with OUR behaviour. When we came across this patch ones reply was 'typical'.... Personally I was gutted. On a positive I am pleased it was not captured on film by the media.
We are not looking at discriminating against anyone. I was helping run the Comms and heard the broadcast, so I asked for more information. The description was as stated, I also talked to two Constables to try and get a description, and they also described the individual. It was not an old lady, or a gang memeber or a little boy on a Raleigh Twenty. He was as he was described.
We are now looking for that chap to put up his hand and cough up.
