Awww you lot are lovely!

Just to let you know, the Scary Bikers Sewing Circle has been fund-raising since this whole protest thing started. That's why MadDuck's bank account got set up to act as a holding account for the funds.

We (the SBSC) will be delighted if enough donations come in to pay for the stadium damage so that we don't need to dip into the fund-raising we had already done.

We would be even more delighted if, once the stadium damage was paid for, you (collectively) would entrust us with any extra funds in that account to be used for other protest-related expenses. This might include (but not limited to) sound systems for speeches, visual materials (flags, vests, stickers, etc), flyers, publicity material, venue hire, permits, etc etc.

At the end of the protest (when we have succeeded!) we will give any remaining funds to one or more emergency services/rescue groups such as Wellington Free Ambulance.

As StoneY mentioned, if you want your donation to ONLY be used for the purposes of stadium repair, please specify when you make a deposit. If you do not specify, then after the stadium is repaired we will add any surplus to the consolidated protest fund known as the "war chest."

Does that sound acceptable?

In regards the future remember there is a BIKEOI 2 as well......can never be prepared enough can we

Now that really is impressive. It cost a lot of money for people to turn up on Tuesday, to be able to gather up over $3000 as well is simply nothing short of amazing! What a top effort. Where is the news release about this? Want me to draft one
