    Bikoi legends and non-legends

The legends: are the organisers, marshalls, speakers and the gazillions of bikers that turned up today to protest the criminal goings-on of the Smith and his ACC henchmen. I thank you all - it was an honour to be there today.

The non legends were the Highway 61 dickheads (and others of that ilk) that disregarded all the other legends and broke every road rule in the fucking book.

But the title of non legend of the whole day has to go to the immature fucking idiot on a green Kawasaki trailie Reg similar to ??WGS who did wheelies all the way along Mana Esplanade on our way down.

If you guys know this twat - wearing a camo-style MX helmet coloured brown/black, and a mid blue windbreaker at the time - tell him not to bother coming to any more rides and stay in the fucking mud where he deserves to be. This Einstein was undoing all our good work and undermining all our valuable support that we have from the non biking public.

Somebody find out this fuckwits name and shame him on this site - please

Let it go. We had a successful day and the media coverage has done everybody involved very proud.

Dickheads are an inevitable part of any group of humanity. Bikers have our fair share. Nobody was hurt and nothing was broken.

Similar shit could be thrown at all of the people riding today without gloves. It doesn't matter. Forget about it and move on. Please.

i saw one glove being run over as we left the police college meet point. someones gonna be pissed... it looked expensive. though i wonder how the hell it managed to fall off if it was meant to be worn?

it all went well, considering. unfortunately, the leaners group got split all to hell by overtaking by other riders and lane changing. i managed to stay behind hopefulbiker though, and stayed with him and james [username unknown, sorry!] all the way to the stadium.

You guys down there turned one out of the box! The media response is totally positive. You can not ensure everyone rides in a way that is acceptable to everyone.

All positive, good feedback from today. Lets keep it that way!

    Rubbish

I saw MANY 'patched' bikers there today, and as organizer am VERY grateful for the support they gave us

Please don't post such inflammatory postings, these guys are also Bikers and today showed the most restraint I have ever seen the '1%er' side of our lifestyle display, in the interests of the greater coomunity, because like us they own BIG bikes and often many!

We hear your outrage dude, I saw a few 'overzealous' manouvers fron people leaving...BUT

WE (I mean everyone) achieved fucking HISTORY today because despite the Kwaka Wheelie King, despite anyone on a big loud nasty Harley looking 'scary'....

WE managed to get SIX THOUSAND motorcycles (including our friends from H61, Tribesman, Taupiri and other clubs represented PEACEFULLY) into Wellington City, with......

    ZERO CASUALTIES

Patch, so what, some high spirits...no one (I mean NO ONE) binned

    Thanks everyone who came
    Just ride.

I was amazed that all went so smoothly, and at one stage was riding behind a leather jacket which had had it's patch removed (could see the stitch holes where it had been).

To have that number of bikers all pouring into the city like that and not have any accidents is truly remarkable, and the media coverage was very positive. Nick Smith came across on tv tonight looking like an even bigger dick than before. He's still pushing his lame excuses, but looking very battle weary: let's keep him that way!!!

HUGE respect to the organisers and everyone who officiated - you did an amazing job.

Non Legend of the day must be the stupid rider of a late 70s Goldwing who passed a truck and then cut straight in front of a few riders in front of said truck to take an exit to Queen Elizabeth Park (just south of P'ram)....Lucky no one binned...I was mildly suprised...I dont believe he was a KBer...least I hope not!!!

Totally disageree with the patched bikers being "non legends" - well said StoneY. I was there on the ground telling people where they could and couldn't put their bikes - and let me tell you that I has better cooperation from many of the "patched" lot than from a *lot* of supposedly "less scary" bikers.

There was no trouble, no display of rivalry between any of the groups that I saw - just a shitload of bikers united in a single cause asking "who's next" and calling Dr Smith's figures "Bullshit"

Posted by one of the real legends of todays' event. Hats off to you StoneY for your organisational skills. There were 6000 plus other legends there today as well, every biker who made it their job to take our message to Parliament. Well done one and all.

I should have been a little more specific and definitive - clearly.

I meant the Highway 61'ers that passed ME in MY PARTICULAR PART of the ride - not all of them!. I was glad to see the patched boys today too, it was important that they were there - they belonged there - we are all brother bikers. All it takes is one or two idiots to unravel what we are trying to achieve - I wish I had you guys' patience and forgiveness.

Saw plenty of patches. Didn't see any do anything out of line (apart from the bastards blasting past while I was falling asleep on the slowww slowww slowww slowww ride from Sanson to Papawozzaname, and unable to chase them.)

Sorry. Yes it was a splendid demonstration, and everybody (except me) behaved impeccably. Well done everybody But it was just soooooo boring. It woudl have been fun for us all to chase the Tribesmen. Imagine being chased by 1000+ bikers!

    8k bikes

    2 knobs

    1 burnout , 1wheelie baby

    Cant complain at that

though IF the wheelie dick had been caught on camera ..it would have done a lot of damage
