Lightbulb Hey, accidents happen - don't worry

I thought it was worth starting a thread just to say to those that are saying stuff like "sorry ay, i fell off, so that does not look good for us with the work we are doing against the ACC levy increases etc'

The point i wanted to make is, that hey, we ride motorbikes, accidents happen sometimes with sometimes without others involvement.

So, just remember, our bone is not so much 'we have to try to look good in the public eye so there on our side so as we can get our levies increase stopped' its more about
getting the publics attention so as they can see that the good ol New Zealand institution of ACC, no suing each other and everyone paying into a pool of money in a fair way so that we all can continue our lives in the case of an accident, is being TORN OUT FROM UNDER US, in a manner that is not obvious and the government are certainly not being up front about it in the media etc.

so yeah - don't feel bad if you fall off, it's all part of it, brush yourself off, look after yourself, get better and get back on.

just spread the word that the government is tearing our ACC system away from us without even telling us!

PS - i'm right behind all of the campaigns and fully support all the activities we are doing/have done against ACC.

I'd suggest we'd all be far better off if we learned how to not fall off so often.

    What a load of bullshit.

If the only way for you to avoid falling off is going by car then I suggest you stick to your car.

Of course you are right, but you miss his point.

Sometimes you are fucked. And when you are fucked, you are fucked, and there's fuck all you can fucking do about it, except go and have another fucking cup of tea.

The trick is to avoid letting yourself get in situations where you find yourself fucked.

I think the real trick is to learn how to deal with "Hey, that sounds like a good idea" thought that lurks in the back of the brain.

When you figure it out please let me know.
