Hehe you always know best, and somehow you know what I am thinking better than I do. You might consider for a second that to be infeasible before you argue it any further, as it has the potential to go really pear-shaped on you.

Always the personal attack on KB.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

And "victims shouldn't pay". I.e. if we're not causing the accident - why do WE pick up the bill?

Closely followed by listing the various groups NOT being targetted... not even being levied at all!

Probably in the same vein as "I got crashed into - the person who crashed into me doesn't have any insurance - therefore my insurance ends up paying to get me fixed, even though I was not responsible for what happened".

As for the OP, I am of the opinion that there's a fine line between action designed to draw attention to our displeasure and that which turns public support against us.

I've had nothing but positive comments from people who don't ride, and although they're not the people in a position to change ACC's position, they are in a position to oust the government come next election.

I'd rather keep the "who's next" agenda to the fore and retain the public's support than alienate them and thereby "get what we deserve"...

No need to state the obvious steve.

This is the kind of thing that I will stay away from. You really need someone standing there yelling out what they are there for. To just make a tit of yourself by turning up and making a noise has no point and is ineffective to what the protest movement is all about. Anyone can turn up anywhere where a National MP is going to be, thats the easy part. To get your point across is something you have to work at, making the public take notice is also something your have to work at. Annoying the shit out of everyone is something you dont have to work at.
