So how many 600cc+ bikers actually earn 80k+?

So, i'm getting sick of hearing about how those of us on 600cc+ bikes tend to be higher earners.

The number constantly quoted and used for subsidisation examples is $80 000.

So, for interests sake, how many of you on here with bikes over 600cc, earn that much or more?

It will be interesting to see the numbers.

To cut the modesty out, I for one don't earn anywhere near that!

What about less than 600cc but more than 80k ?

    I've got a 250 and 570cc currently, though I did own a 650 once, but it was a single so doesn't really count ;p

Interestingly some numb nuts in that link is rattling on about bikers causing x number of accidents. Look at the cost of the accidents if you are going to do that. Most of the single vehicle accidents are cheap, either rider dies or at worst breaks a bone. The multi vehicle ones are where you get the HUGE rehab costs. So please if you are going to quote those stats, know your shit will ya.

Not really relevant. You need to ask this question at a HOG meeting. This site is probably too young to have a high percentage of upper decile earners. And the wrong sort of bikes.

Ironic - when I rode a 250cc in Auckland I was earning over that mark. Now that I ride a 600cc I earn slightly less than half what I used to.

I used to earn fookin heaps au, but I changed jobs cos I felt like it, and now I earn six tenths of fuck-all.

    Still got a GSX1400 but.

So I'm not quite sure how to vote.

I certainly wouldn't have the 1400 if I'd been earning what I do now all along.

Less than the 80K and 2 bikes, 1 car to rego. Only one of me. Would still be up in arms about these increases if earned 800k...
