On the subject of liners, have you had good experiences of them? I have always found chemical gunks disappointing. Bronze I trust, but it does bugger the paintwork. And it is tedious preparation (being a coward I prefer not to be exploded ).

I DID A TEMORARY REPAIR WITH ARALDITE AND IT WAS STILL OK 5 YEARS LATER, IF THE HOLE IS TO BIG KNEAD IT MIGHT WORKOriginally Posted by Ixion
Thanks. I might give Araldite a try. Silly thing is its a little dead end at the bottom of the tabk which is only there for aesthetic reasons. Thanks for the input.Originally Posted by WINJA

If you have one pinhole already, the'll be 20 more just waiting to pop through from the inside. The POR15 kit will remove most of the rust, coat and etch the steel with zinc phospate, and the sealer will be absorbed and seal any remaining rust as well as coating the clean steel.
No I don't work for them.![]()
No, I meant araldite as an alternative to brazing. Inside treatment is an option regardless of how I plug this actual hole.Originally Posted by Pixie
I'm just trying to find out if anyone has had success with these chemical treatments. In the past I've been disappointed with things like RadWeld. But, I dare say those fiendishly clever chemists have improved things nowadays (BTW, very clever people chemists. Good looking too. And very good lovers. Ladies take note.Kind and sensitive also in a very masculine way If you are lucky enough to meet a chemist, be sure to buy him a beer. Or several, Speights is best)
