Smile The rationale for pre-funding ACC

This is one of the best summaries of ACC and it's fully funded model I have read.

It's a bit long, but well worth the read!

Well that sums it up for sure.
And the conclusion is so obvious.

Something we need to condence and use as a tool me thinks
Brick walls are there only to stop those who dont want it as much as you.

A very percipient document. And the more remarkable coming from such a source

    I also note

It would be good if someone (or ones) could attend that

I'd have no clue but am told its proper bizzo skills to be prepared, also heard from pollies today they learnt something from the super debacle about the need to squirrel stuff when ya know inflation on medical costs etc is gonna kill the next generation.

Also agree that in preparing for the worst incentive is removed to aim for the best ie injury prevention.

One of lifes great riddles - why did NZTA's boss get a pay boost - all his pay should be donated to the ACC for the next 100 years (given his billboards, safety ads etc gave us this 4 xmas) and give him a ball and chain. Few are guiltier than thou.
My main wish out of this is to see many jumped up bureaucrats flushed out of NZTA, Police, ACC, MoT and executed. Cheering on the sidelines!
