Do you still Wave at Passing Bikes?

Is it me or have I noticed that bikers dont wave or nod as much to eachother when passing.

About 10 years back when I was at university (showing my age) I ride my bike (NS400R) often and most of the bikers that I pass nods or waves back. But these days most dont even look at ya let alone wave. I feel strange nodding to myself. Whats up with that?

I wave to anything with two wheels and a motor. Most wave back. One thing that does influence things is that it is often hard to wave in time on the motorway.

Even Harleys wave to Li'l Rat Bike, sometimes they even wave first. I've no idea why they approve of him. amused by it's sheer cheek maybe.

I wave to everything except those gay scooters.... and the reason I don't wave to them is in the past when you wave to them all you get back is confused, fearful stares..................

having riden a scooter, it was more of a way of getting from a to b, now riding a bike it's more about what happens while i'm going from a-b and riding a proper bike you tend to be looking at what others are riding, still love those gsx250's (for a learner bike) they just look so good!

I wave to most, even Hardleys....it's fun to watch 'em nearly loose control when they take a hand off the bars to wave back

I had a whole bus load of girls waving at me and getting excited on the motorway. It made my day.

I wave at pretty much everything... bmws/harleys almost never wave (I must be to riced for them or something ) and scooters... mabey a 30% sucess rate. I got more nods/waves from cops than those categories :/

Coolest nod/wave I got was from a rather crazily speeding cbr going up symonds street just as I left uni... looked up from perving the R1 thats outside the arts building every day, ''wEEEEUUUmmmmm' and I get a nod made my day hehehe.

I usually just nod to people, but sometimes I wave. I don't think I've ever had anyone on a scooter wave back though, I guess it's true that they're mostly just a way of getting from a to b.
