If your speed is greater than 50 kph above the limit then you will not receive an instant fine at the raod side. You will receive a Traffic Offence Notice and be summonsed to Court, (unless you are arrested for dangerous speed). The penalty imposed is up to the Court. If you received an instant fine and were summonsed to Court for the same offence this would be double jeopardy, you can't be penalised twice for the one offence.

Well theres not a whole i can do, but something i try is to "help" cops understand how their attitude comes across, call it an "attack" if you want, i call it an intervention. .

In the case of Mr Scumdog, in his words "they get all the attitude they deserve". This is why police are not respected.

Yes in other words Police should accept as gospel the explanations of offenders, afterall they are right and police are only there to serve them...

I flatted with a guy who did get out of being laser'd at 167. Cost him an arm and a leg in fees and fines, but he kept his license though. I've PM'd the details of the lawyer to a couple of other condemned souls on this site, although I haven't seen any feedback.

Im not saying hes not a decent guy, i dont know him, but his tit for tat attitude will affect how people view the force. Its great he lets speeding bikers off, im sure those bikers are very happy, its helps balance his other side, fantastic, because we all love inconsistancy esp when its bias towards bikers

They have other performance measurements. They aren't expected to carry out traffic duties as part of their daily workload.

Well its a good thing i dont care what you think my thoughts are based on, but for the record, as ive stated an the police thread, with an example, they are based on my personal real life experience. And as far as my life goes, i do know what im talking about.

So am i Ignorant? nope i have experienced everything ive talked about here first hand mate, guess that makes you the ignorant one.
