    Calling helpful Westies !

    Hey all

Hopefully getting my bike monday or tuesday, i live in west auckland and havent had much experience in gears, i live in a pretty quite neighbourhood (off scenice drive) and was wondering if any west aucklanders could maybe show me some stuff for an hour or two either mon or tues or wed, whenever is good for you. I did some stuff with gears when i got my basic handling but apart from that im pretty new, had some car driving lessons but gave those up when i started on 2 wheels (scooter)

Im sure a box of beer could be given to the successful applicant

Send me a PM or reply here

    hey dude!

Yeah i dont mind, unfortunatley get home @ 6pm so dark by then

No beers needed at all, best bet in my opinion would be out old north or something this weekend, very carefully. Or if your happy with dark, we could head to a carpark or something... pitty a weekday again.

If you want more experience with changing gears etc i can take my KDX200 dirtbike out to a "secret" place out west here, for you to burn around on and i can give you pointers on it, then it doesnt matter if you fall off etc as the old dirtbike likes some abuse now and then.

    Cheers,

    Logan.

    then join in!

it can be a gang bang on the poor old girl.

due to blow up soon i assume as top end is feeling rather down on power and possible main bearings noises.. though its hard to hear on the crude engine of the KDX, cross cut gears and a noisey clutch means for lots of rattly sounds!

TristanK might be able to help you, although he is a newbie - He is getting better and I keep busting his balls about how to do it properly, so he may be able to help.

Yeah.... I'm prone to returning to my former haunt of westieland every now and then just tell me when and where and ill see if it fits in. Friday night would be good for me as I need to do my assignments this coming weekend. Titirangi Primary school carpark or something... some mean hill starts up the driveway etc
