    No it doesn't, however sometimes when you do something stupid it just happens.
    Point is, deserved or not, you pay your money, you take ya chances - deserved has nothing to do with it.

    Really bad start of the year for bikers - that said at just after 9am this morning there was an MX bike (no license plate) riding into central wellington today on SH1 doing about 85 in the outside lane, I passed him just before the ateo quay exit. That bloke needs his head looking at.
    Slightly off the track but my mate's MX bike was stolen in exactly this manner, they broke it out of his garage and rode it down SH2 to the hutt and then it was never heard from again. I hope that wasn't someone else's bike being stolen.

    Debatable but he made his choice and deserves whatever the outcome may be which in this instance was death.

    Sympathy = 0

    The only good that can come from this is that others learn from his stupidity and if faced with the same situation man up and accept responsibility for their actions instead of choosing to risk their lives for something so insignificant.

    Best time of year to enjoy riding I reckon. Far less tourists and far less wannabe's...

    Someone else mentioned something about the guilty conscience of cops. Maybe they were mostly right, just slightly off-target.

    "Strange. I've done it heaps of times on Playstation and almost never have to restart" Ain't reality a bitch!

    Seriously though I suspect there could well have been more than a traffic infringement to avoid in this case.

    From some serious analysis efforts amongst my colleagues and I, given the actions, location of runner and location of accident, we have so far concluded there are complete numbnuts out there. RIP numbnut.

    Stay tuned for more stunning media level analysis as more facts come to light (or not)
