i was out with some friend playing pool/pokies and drinking , anyways i got dared to do the scorpio shot by one of the girls. I said yes as i thought all i had to do was get it down my throat with the vodka, but aperantly not! The chick at the bar has never seen one done and never done one but assured me i had to munch the fu#er before it went down.
It wasnt at all what I expected it to taste like, cnt quiet describe it but taste was somewhat familiar. Then i washed it down with the vodka....and a glass of water
Any ways im glad i did it as always wanted to

A scorpion? In NZ? Well at least outside of the Auck airport, they're a trifle scarce. Like rocking horse poo. How many vodkas had you had before the "scorpion"?

Ive had about 5 of them.

Lou: They come into the country in jars, quite dead. Not huge ones (Shot glass sized). Yank the tail off, munch on it the rest, get the little legs stuck in your teeth then wash it down with cheap vodka. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

funny you should mention that.. I filmed my bro and a friend get one of their mutant chillis (looked like red bananannannannanananas) and stick in a blender with a little ice and vodka. interesting to say the least.
I still have the clip, but the whole vid is 44mb, so can't really post it. very funny tho. They managed to drink half of it
