This is Heather here just to let you all know that Jim had a fairly serious bike accident on Sunday and will be out of action for some time. He was riding along route 52 in Alfredton when a sheep jumped out of the grass on the side of the road and hit the side of the bike causing him to fall off on a grand scale. He was air lifted to Palmerston North Hospital with lots of broken ribs and a nasty head injury. He has just been discharged but won't be up to much for quite a while. Jim, Get well soon and look after that head. Did the exact same thing myself back in 2008. Really feel for you at this time.

Heather, thanks for letting us know. I hope you and he receive all the support you need in the weeks to come. My man had a similar injury and it just takes time for a head to mend. He is such a clever witty guy that he will be missed around here, but it is much more important that he heals well than entertains us.
