    Not good news at all.

    Heal up well Mr Deuce.

    One is pulling for you.

    So to speak.

Arse. Normally I'd come up with a witty jibe, like why didn't Jim do this when he was test riding it, not after he'd bought the damn thing (bummer, cos I was hoping to blag a ride too).

Hope eveything goes well with Jim's recovery, although he will owe you a few months of housework after he's back on his feet.

Anything you need, call and I'll do my best to get it done. Even if I need to ride to Wellywood.

You can take every precaution to dodge those stray bullets BUT if one has you name on it, it's gonna get you!

It's fairly reasonable to say that this one was not pilot error.

Please give him our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear! All the best with the healing, and make sure you get back at those unsympathetic people who insist on making you laugh when it hurts to even breathe!
Did it???? I cant remember anything still.

But seriously, all the best for healing. Make sure you give that head injury all the care it needs. All the best mate. I hope you got a freezer full of tender lamb for your troubles.

He was air lifted to Palmerston North Hospital with lots of broken ribs and a nasty head injury. He has just been discharged but won't be up to much for quite a while. If you want some more details you can ring or text me on 0272021741.
Jim, Get well soon and look after that head. Did the exact same thing myself back in 2008. Really feel for you at this time.

Heal well Mr D. Not a nice thing to hear after just coming back from a 2 day jaunt over the same stretch of road.
Glad I got to go with a ride with ya while it was all new & shiny.
    Bastard sheep!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

You'll be lucky mate. Jim and Heather are too nice to ask for help, or even acquiesce to offers.

    Oh bugger!
I sympathise with your plight (what's a kangaroo but a sheep with 2 less legs...)
Glad to hear you're home - rest up - it's hard to do anything else with busted ribs!
    Wallow in the sympathy............

Perhaps the sheep was related to this one....

Heather, thanks for letting us know. I hope you and he receive all the support you need in the weeks to come. My man had a similar injury and it just takes time for a head to mend. He is such a clever witty guy that he will be missed around here, but it is much more important that he heals well than entertains us. I'll be thinking of you and wish jamesdeuce a speedy and full recovery.
