Wellington After Work Tuesday Adventure Rides

    Hey Everyone

Seeing as we have so many regular road rides during the week, thought I mite start up an off road ride for during the week.

Meet at the duck pond at 6pm Tuesday departing 6:20pm, then head off for an adventure.

Routes can be - Karapoti to Mangatuku's, Wainuiomata to Blue Mountains via the firebreaks, or Red Rocks, can be agreed upon by the group at the time(if there is one )

    First ride starts 23rd February.

Well, we won't know until you try it.

Being completely honest here, it would probably make it through most of them, but would be rather uncomfortable, and you would need to be wearing a stuntman suit like mine .

the mz fork seals are the easiest seals to do ever, the bike keeps amazing me in its sheer simplicity
go the germans, (and austrains for the engine, itialians for the suspension, and the czechs for the panels )

Yeah I'll be up for a ride. Every week? or just when it suits on a Tuesday?
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

Every week till theres not enough light (although ive got decent headlights, so not too worried about the dark), unless of course it is pissing with rain.

This weeks ride - Tuesday 2nd March

Looking at going through the Akatarawa's this Tuesday, heading in from Karapoti, up along Pram Track and coming out down the Mangatukutuku's to Gordy's Bar in Paraparaumu for something to eat. Thinking about either heading back through the forest, or taking the Akatarawa Rd back.

Conditions in the Akatarawa's are pretty good, with only a very minor amount of slippery mud at the top of Pram Track.

Not very far. In short, Logans bike didn't like water very much, so we ended changing our destination to somewhere nearby. And then it rained, alot. Those bloody hills.
